[669] The God of the Hebrews and the Land of the Hebrews

Jehovah is said to be God of the Hebrews during the Exodus (and at no other time).

Exo 3:18 And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God. (KJV, ASV, GLT, YLT, NWT, MLV, JPS, Thom, LXXb)
Exo 5:3
And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword. (KJV, ASV, GLT, YLT, NWT, MLV, JPS, Thom, LXXb)
Exo 7:16
And thou shalt say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear. (KJV, ASV, GLT, YLT, NWT, MLV, JPS, Thom, LXXb)
Exo 9:1
Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me. (KJV, ASV, GLT, YLT, NWT, MLV, JPS, Thom, LXXb)
Exo 9:13
And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me. (KJV, ASV, GLT, YLT, NWT, MLV, JPS, Thom, LXXb)
Exo 10:3
And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me. (KJV, ASV, GLT, YLT, NWT, MLV, JPS, Thom, LXXb)

This is the last time that Jehovah is called God of the Hebrews.. He ceased being their God when Israel crossed the red sea and was born not only as a nation but as his people and then covenanted at Mount Sinai. If a Hebrew remained in Egypt having seen all the signs and failed to celebrate the Passover and Cakes and join the vast mixed company (presumably of Hebrews mainly). Then he was rejected as one of God's people. He became an Egyptian to God. The Hebrews of the vast mixed company would have been circumcised at Gilgal in the promised land. So they were baptised into Moses, cleansed for entering into his covenant by the cloud and the sea. They were covenanted at Sinai and circumcised at Gilgal.

Letter to the Hebrews (rather than the circumcised or the Abrahamics) shows that the exclusive to the circumcised and to Abraham had ended by that time. God was once again God of the Hebrew superset.

The Hebrews were the sons of Eber (Eberu). Yet he is nowhere in the bible said to be the God of Eber. Instead we read, the ludicrous scripture...

Gen 10:21 Unto Shem also, the father of all the sons of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were [children] born. (KJV, ASV, GLT, YLT, NWT, MLV, JPS, Thom)

And the revelatory scripture...

Gen 9:26 And he said, Blessed [be] Jehovah God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. (KJV, ASV, GLT, MLV, JPS)

So Shem had a covenant with Jehovah (hence Jehovah was his God) and the Hebrews had a covenant with Jehovah. But Eber did not. So the Hebrews, the genetic sons of Eber, were not in opposition to God. In fact they had an exclusive on being his people (by covenant) just as the circumcised had under the LCC. Shem had the faith covenant, the SFC. The Hebrews had the genetic exclusivity covenant. Peleg had the priestly covenant the PCC, the Pelegian Church Covenant and Nahor had the saintly covenant, the Nahorian Angelic Covenant - see intro28 and see U9.

Covenant Immediate post flood mediator Abrahamic system mediator
Faith Shem: Semitic Faith Covenant (SFC) Abraham: First Abrahamic Covenant (1AC)
Genetic people Hebrews, sons of Eber. Circumcised (LCC)
Priesthood Peleg: Pelgian Church Covenant (PCC) Isaac: Isaaic Church Covenant (ICC)
Angelic salvation Nahor: Nahorian Angelic Covenant (NAC) Jacob: Jacobian Angelic Covenant (JAC)
Period of genetic exclusivity 2233Sivan7 (Babel) - 1513Iyyar10 (crossing the Red/Reed sea) 1513Iyyar10 (the crossing of the Red/Reed Sea) - 36Tishri14 (the conversion of Corenlius)

So the language of the Hebrews would not have been divided or changed at Babel because  they were God's people. So the original language of all Mankind was Hebrew.

Gen 11:1 Now all the earth continued to be of one lip and of one [set of] words. (NWT)

The Land of the Hebrews

Gen 40:15 For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon. (KJV, ASV, GLT, YLT, NWT, MLV, JPS, Thom, LXXb)
Gen 43:32 And they set on for him by himself, and for them by themselves, and for the Egyptians, which did eat with him, by themselves: because the Egyptians might not eat bread with the Hebrews; for that [is] an abomination unto the Egyptians. (KJV, ASV, GLT, YLT, NWT, MLV, JPS, Thom, LXXb)
Exo 1:15 And the king of Egypt said to the midwives of the Hebrews, of whom the name of one [was] Shiphrah, and the name of the second, Puah; (GLT, LXXb)

Hebrews, not Israelites!! Shiprah (brightness), the 1st midwife and Puah (glittering), the 2nd midwife. These 2 must stand for salvation covenants. The first of them would be the PCC and the 2nd the NAC, So God's people were in Egypt BEFORE Jacob came down into it from the land of the Hebrews. So where was the land of the Hebrews?

Gen 37:1  And Jacob continued to dwell in the land of the alien residences of his father, in the land of Canaan (NWT)
Gen 37:28  Now men, Midianite merchants, went passing by. Hence they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the waterpit and then sold Joseph to the Ishmaelites for 20 silver pieces. Eventually these brought Joseph into Egypt. (NWT)

So Canaan was the land of the Hebrews when Joseph was thrown down the well and sold to the Ishmaelites. So which if any of the 10 conquered tribes in Israel were Hebrews?

1Ch 1:13  As for Canaan, he became father to Sidon his firstborn and Heth (NWT)
1Ch 1:14  and the Jebusite and the Amorite and the Girgashite (NWT)
1Ch 1:15  and the Hivite and the Arkite and the Sinite (NWT)
1Ch1:16">1Ch 1:16  and the Arvadite and the Zemarite and the Hamathite. (NWT)

Gen 15:18  On that day Jehovah concluded with Abram a covenant, saying: To your seed I will give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates: (NWT)
Gen 15:19  the Kenites and the Kenizzites and the Kadmonites (NWT)
Gen 15:20  and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Rephaim (NWT)
Gen 15:21  and the Amorites and the Canaanites and the Girgashites and the Jebusites. (NWT)

Heth was the father of the Hittites.

21 And he seeth the Kenite, and taketh up his simile, and saith: 'Enduring {is} thy dwelling, And setting in a rock thy nest,
22 But there will come one to consume Kain; Till when doth Asshur take thee captive?'
23 And he taketh up his proverb, and saith: 'Alas! who doth live when God doth this?
24 And -- ships {are} from the side of Kittim, And they have humbled Asshur, And they have afflicted Eber, And it [the affliction not Eber] also for ever is perishing.' (Numbers 24 YLT adapted)

So Kenites, who confusingly are descendants of a chap called Kain (not Cain the son of Satan), are actually sons of Eber. They are therefore Hebrews. Hence they were preserved in the promised land...

Jdg 1:16 And the children of the Kenite, Moses' father in law, went up out of the city of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which [lieth] in the south of Arad; and they went and dwelt among the people. (KJV, ASV, GLT, YLT, NWT, MLV, JPS, Thom, LXXb, WLCie)
1Sa 15:6
And Saul said to the Kenite, Go! Depart! Go out from the midst of Amalek, lest I destroy you with him. For you acted with kindness toward all the sons of Israel when they came up out of Egypt. And the Kenite departed from the midst of Amalek. (GLT, YLT, WLCie)

They are cryptically related to Cain in the sense that Cain lost his priesthood to Abel and Hebrew superset lost their priesthood to the Israel [leader of God] subset. And they are further cryptically related to Eber by Judges4

Jdg 4:11 Now Heber the Kenite, [which was] of the children of Hobab the father in law of Moses, had severed himself from the Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim, which [is] by Kedesh. (KJV, ASV, GLT, YLT, NWT, MLV, JPS, LXXb, WLCie)
