[236] Genesis 3: The earthly and the heavenly rebellions

Woman = administration of the faithful angelic congregation in Archeden and afterwards
Serpent = unfaithful angelic congregation in Archeden and afterwards
The Man = Archadam = Lucifer
Eve = 1HSC
Ground = the true church, the faithful angelic congregation, the earth
Dust = faithful angels in the ground - a constituent of the earth.

Angels are born first angelic dead, since Archadam sinned in Archeden. Angelic females have no physical birth pangs. So God did not increase these! But the woman, the church of the faithful angels, does have birth pangs in baptising and testing her members so that they come out of the first angelic death (Tartarus condemnation). The 1HSC did become the mother of everyone living, since a Tartarus conquering angel must use the ransom of the 1HSC.

So Satan is dust, a faithful angel, and to dust he will return. So he will leave the true angelic church, become unfaithful (as we know only too well), and then he will rejoin it as dust. He will rejoin it in a low position. He will just be an ordinary member of the true church.

The Serpent (wicked angels) eat dust. They consume faithful angels of the ground and corrupt them into the body of the serpent.

Basically the experience of Adam and his sons is isomorphic to that of Archadam and his sons.

1 Now the serpent proved to be the most cautious of all the wild beasts of the field that Jehovah God had made. So it began to say to the woman: Is it really so that God said you must not eat from every tree of the garden?
2 At this the woman said to the serpent: Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat.
3 But as for [eating] of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, God has said, 'You must not eat from it, no, you must not touch it that you do not die.'
4 At this the serpent said to the woman: You positively will not die.
5 For God knows that in the very day of your eating from it your eyes are bound to be opened and you are bound to be like God, knowing good and bad.
6 Consequently the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was something to be longed for to the eyes, yes, the tree was desirable to look upon. So she began taking of its fruit and eating it. Afterward she gave some also to her male-one when with her and he began eating it.
7 Then the eyes of both of them became opened and they began to realize that they were naked. Hence they sewed fig leaves together and made loin coverings for themselves.
8 Later they heard the voice of Jehovah God walking in the garden about the breezy part of the day, and the man and his wife went into hiding from the face of Jehovah God in between the trees of the garden.
9 And Jehovah God kept calling to the man and saying to him: Where are you?
10 Finally he said: Your voice I heard in the garden, but I was afraid because I was naked and so I hid myself.
11 At that he said: Who told you that you were naked? From the tree from which I commanded you not to eat have you eaten?
12 And the man went on to say: The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me [fruit] from the tree and so I ate.
13 With that Jehovah God said to the woman: What is this you have done? To this the woman replied: The serpent -- it deceived me and so I ate.
14 And Jehovah God proceeded to say to the serpent: Because you have done this thing, you are the cursed one out of all the domestic animals and out of all the wild beasts of the field. Upon your belly you will go and dust is what you will eat all the days of your life.
15 And I shall put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He will bruise you in the head and you will bruise him in the heel.
16 To the woman he said: I shall greatly increase the pain of your pregnancy; in birth pangs you will bring forth children, and your craving will be for your husband, and he will dominate you.
17 And to Adam he said: Because you listened to your wife's voice and took to eating from the tree concerning which I gave you this command, 'You must not eat from it,' cursed is the ground on your account. In pain you will eat its produce all the days of your life.
18 And thorns and thistles it will grow for you, and you must eat the vegetation of the field.
19 In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return.
20 After this Adam called his woman's name Eve, because she had to become the mother of everyone living.
21 And Jehovah God proceeded to make long garments of skin for Adam and for his wife and to clothe them.
22 And Jehovah God went on to say: Here the man has become like one of us in knowing good and bad, and now in order that he may not put his hand out and actually take [fruit] also from the tree of life and eat and live to time indefinite, --
23 With that Jehovah God put him out of the garden of Eden to cultivate the ground from which he had been taken.
24 And so he drove the man out and posted at the east of the garden of Eden the cherubs and the flaming blade of a sword that was turning itself continually to guard the way to the tree of life (Genesis 3).

Woman (9), Serpent (5)

The pattern in Archeden repeats itself in Eden.

Free will always results in disobedience which is unrighteousness, which is morally unsustainable and so results in death which requires sacrifice.

The old symbolism below is not entirely correct...

Woman  The holy spirit, God’s wife, and Michael’s wife
The woman’s husband  Michael, the mediator of the holy spirit covenant with God
Holy Spirit X Michael X God
The Serpent Satan
The man  Satan
The man’s wife Demons

The woman whom you gave to be with me:

Demons
Domestic animals  Loyal angels
Wild animals (beasts)  Demons
Loin coverings Covert reproduction, wheat and weeds, embarrassing kids
The garden

Heavenly administration

Trees of the garden Good Food = God’s Teachings & laws & priests
Woman’s seed  Jesus and all true worshippers
Satan’s seed False worshippers
Dust  Human
The ground (outside Eden) Satan’s administration
Thorns & thistles Satan’s teachings and laws
Bruise/crush in the head Terminal blow for a snake
Bruise/crush in the heel Slows down the pace of a man, a delay
Eat bread  Make spiritual food
Vegetation of the field God’s teachings

The Jehovah's Witnesses have long known that the woman of Genesis 3 is the woman of Revelation 12, and the serpent of Genesis 3 is the dragon of Revelation 12, which is Satan:

And a great sign was seen in heaven, a woman arrayed with the sun, and the moon was beneath her feet, and on her head was a crown of twelve stars, and she was pregnant. And she cries out in her pains and in her agony to give birth.
And another sign was seen in heaven, and, look! a great fiery-colored dragon, with seven heads and ten horns and upon its heads seven diadems; and its tail drags a third of the stars of heaven, and it hurled them down to the earth. And the dragon kept standing before the woman who was about to give birth, that, when she did give birth, it might devour her child
(Revelation 12:1-4).

And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven.
So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him
(Revelation 12:7-9).

And the dragon grew wrathful at the woman, and went off to wage war with the remaining ones of her seed, who observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness to Jesus (Revelation 12:17).

But they have failed to apply this symbolism of verses 14 and 15 to the rest of the account in Genesis 3! This section deals not with the literal meaning which refers to the earthly rebellion of Adam and Eve but rather with the symbolic meaning which refers to the earlier heavenly rebellion of the angels in Archeden.
