5 For,
according to their wish, this fact escapes their notice, that there were heavens from of old and an earth standing compactly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God;
6 and by those [means] the world of that time suffered destruction when it was deluged with water.
7 But by the same word the heavens and the earth that are now are stored up for fire and are being reserved to the day of judgment and of destruction of the godless men [but not of those faithful to God].
8 However,
let this one fact not be escaping your notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as 1,000 years and 1,000 years as one day.
9 Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.
10 Yet Jehovah's day will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a hissing noise, but the elements being intensely hot will be dissolved [by volcanic activity],
and earth and the works in it will be discovered.
11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of persons ought you to be in holy acts of conduct and deeds of godly devotion,
12 awaiting and keeping close in mind the presence of the day of Jehovah, through which [the] heavens being on fire will be dissolved and [the] elements being intensely hot will melt! (2 Peter 3).
24 'Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, because by all these things the nations whom I am sending out from before you have made themselves unclean.
25 Consequently the land is unclean, and I shall bring punishment for its error upon it,
and the land will vomit its inhabitants out.
26 And you yourselves must keep my statutes and my judicial decisions, and you must not do any of all these detestable things, whether a native or an alien resident who is residing as an alien in your midst.
27 For all these detestable things the men of the land who were before you have done,
so that the land is unclean.
28 Then the land will not vomit you out for your defiling it the same way as it will certainly vomit the nations out who were before you (Leviticus 18).
22 'And you people must keep all my statutes and all my judicial decisions and do them, that the land to which I am bringing you to dwell in it may not vomit you out (Leviticus 20).
The Hebrew word for 'Land' counts 6x in Leviticus18 and 2x in Leviticus20. So it takes a greater meaning in the word symbolism to that in the literal account. Now in both literal accounts the literal land of Israel did not vomit anyone out. It was the congregation of Israel, the new 'land' of Israel which threw the old inhabitants out. So land means congregation in the literal meaning of Leviticus 18 and 20. So in the greater meaning it means something else. This must be literal land. How does literal land vomit someone out? By a volcanic eruption. A volcanic eruption spews vomit from the land! So the greater meanings of the two Leviticus accounts is an extinction level volcanic event on the people in the greater land of Israel which is the planet in the time period of the Kingdom of God. This land is unclean. The Kingdom itself is not unclean but the planet is at the start of the Kingdom.
Here is the bible prophesying the physical pollution of the planet. The literal account refers to a moral pollution of the congregation. The symbolic meaning is a physical pollution of the land. Now those who obey God's law are not vomited out, they are in fact raptured out of the land. But those who do not are vomited out by the extinction level volcanic event.
The only other scripture in the bible which mentions land and vomit in the same verse is Jonah2:10
10 In time Jehovah commanded the fish, so that it vomited out Jonah onto the dry land (Jonah 2).
The greater meaning of this refers to the 1NC reserve saints being vomited out onto the dry land of TCC4 - see U251. The fascinating thing about the Jonah account is that Tarshish is mentioned 3x. Now Tarshish means a Yellow Jasper Stone or a Yellow Beryl Stone or a Yellow Chrysolite Stone or other Yellow Stone (Bible Works Strong's 8658). Whereas the most famous Caldera in the world resides in the Yellow Stone National Park. This is not a coincidence. The final vomiting out of mankind from this planet will involve a volcanic eruption of that Caldera.
