[83] The first meaning of the first chapters of the Gospel of John

JOHN CHAPTER 1

1 In [the] beginning [of the world, which began with Adam's sin] the Word [the Angel Michael] was, and the Word was with the God [In a covenant agreement with God to ransom Adam angelically, the ARC], and the Word was a god [Michael was a spirit being, a son of God, and therefore a God in nature. He existed in God's form - Philippians 2:6, but gave no consideration to a seizure to be equal to God - as Satan did. A God here means a spirit being. The God is Jehovah. He is an everliving everloving and everrighteous spirit being].
2 This one was in [the] beginning with God [In a covenant arrangement with God, to be the mediator of the second holy spirit covenant, after Satan sinned destroying the first holy spirit covenant].
3 All [beings] came into existence [everlasting existence, rather than a temporary existence] through him, and apart from him not even one [being] came into [everlasting] existence. What has come into existence
4 by means of him was life [everlasting life], and the life [Jesus, who was possed by Michael at his baptism] was the light of men.
5 And the light [Jesus, the light of the world], is shining in the darkness, but the darkness [the lies and ignorance and wickedness of the world] has not overpowered it.
6 There arose a man that was sent forth as a representative of God: his name was John [the baptist].
7 This [man] came for a witness, in order to bear witness about the light [Jesus, who is the word, the way, the truth, the life and the light of the world], that people of all sorts [every race, every nation, every religion] might believe through him.
8 He was not that light [he was not Jesus], but he was meant to bear witness about that light.
9 The true light that gives light to every sort of man was about to come into the world [Michael was about to enter Immanuel, making Jesus. He had not yet entered at the time of John's first preaching and baptising!].
10 He was in the world, and the world came into existence through him [His agreement to Ransom Adam, the ARC, is the legal basis for the world. Without it Adam would have died on 3993Nisan14 with Eve and there would have been no world at all. Satan did not bring this world into existence. He took Eden out of existence. Michael brought the world into existence through the ARC. Father forgive them, they know not what they do. They were killing their God, the one whose agreement to die for them gave them their lives, their souls and this whole world], but the world did not know him [They thought he was the son of Joseph the carpenter].
11 He came to his own people, but his own people did not take him in [He was the angelic prince of Israel].
12 However, as many as did receive him, to them he gave authority to become God's children [get baptised in holy spirit, be born again as angels], because they were exercising faith in his name [his authority, his legal status, his covenant blessings];
13 and they were born, not from bloods [of validation sacrifices of various salvation covenants] or from a fleshly will [genetic birth] or from man's will [water baptism into a true religion], but from God [as angels in heaven associated with humans that are spirit baptised].
14 So the Word became flesh and resided among us [Michael possessed Immanuel, becoming Jesus Christ], and we had a view of his glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father [the only angelic son of God with everlasting life before Jesus died, was the angel Michael. And he was to become the firstborn and only begotten God - see verse 18]; and he was full of undeserved kindness and truth.
15 John bore witness about him, yes, he actually cried out -- this was the one who said [it] -- saying: The one coming behind me has advanced in front of me, because he existed before me [Gabriel who, was possessing John at the time, said that Michael who possessed Jesus after Gabriel possessed John and therefore came behind him, has advanced in front of Gabriel in salvation status (having everlasting life) and in priestly authority because he was born as an angel before Gabriel was and so had first choice over the ARC by birthright. This statement is saying that Gabriel would have signed up to the ARC had he been older the Michael as an angel!]
16 For we all received from out of his fullness, even undeserved kindness upon undeserved kindness.
17 Because the Law was given through Moses, the undeserved kindness and the truth came to be through Jesus Christ.
18 No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god [Jesus became a God to be worshipped, an everliving, everloving, ever-righteous spirit being, after he died. He is therefore the only God who was himself begotten, or created. So he is the only begotten God] who is in the bosom [position] with the Father [He is the firstborn God of Jehovah, the first true son, hence he alone is in his arms] is the one that has explained him.
19 Now this is the witness of John [the baptist] when the Jews sent forth priests and Levites from Jerusalem to him to ask him: Who are you?
20 And he confessed and did not deny, but confessed: I am not the Christ [he was a christ, but not the christ].
21 And they asked him: What, then? Are you Elijah? And he said: I am not [He was not the ex-human spirit of Elijah, he was Gabriel who possessed the human body of Elijah temporarily. But he was actually an Elijah as Jesus said in Matthew 11:14, since he cleared the way for Jesus, but he was not the Elijah of the Hebrew Scriptures ]. Are you The Prophet? And he answered: No! [He was not the prophet predicted by Moses - Jesus was one fulfilment of this person. buthe was certainly a prophet]
22 Therefore they said to him: Who are you? that we may give an answer to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself? [From a bible code standpoint there are 3 further John the baptist figures who are the Christ for a generation, the prophet in a further meaning and an Elijah respectively].
23 He said: I am a voice of someone crying out in the wilderness, 'Make the way of the Lord straight,' just as Isaiah the prophet said.
24 Now those sent forth were from the Pharisees.
25 So they questioned him and said to him: Why, then, do you baptize if you yourself are not the Christ or Elijah or The Prophet? [From a bible code standpoint 3 further people will start a water baptism, making a total of 4 true Christian churches. Charles Russell was an Elijah, Paul is the Prophet and another Elijah is the Christ for the last generation - we think]
26 John answered them, saying: I baptize in water. In the midst of you one is standing whom you do not know,
27 the one coming behind me, but the lace of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie [Jesus' feet, the last members of his body on earth, the 1NC saints at the end of TCC1, get imprisoned and lose the baptism of John, so they need a further Elijah so untie them. Higher = Earlier, Lower = Later].
28 These things took place in Bethany across the Jordan [not the Bethany of Lazarus but around 20 miles south of the lake of Galilee. the house of dates within the Watchtower, the prophets in the cave], where John was baptizing.
29 The next [day] he beheld Jesus coming toward him, and he said: See, the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world! [Jesus is God's sacrificial gift who will ransom Adam thereby removing the sin of the World, which is Adam's sin. Also Melchizedek does this from a human standpoint]
30 This is the one about whom I said, Behind me there comes a man who has advanced in front of me, because he existed before me [Again Gabriel confirms that he volunteered with Michael but Michael was older so he got the job of ransoming Adam angelically in validation of the ARC. But Gabriel was the validation sacrifice for the CRC].
31 Even I did not know him [Gabriel did not know Immanuel personally. It would also appear that Gabiel was not permitted to view Immanuel from heaven before his baptism!!], but the reason why I came baptizing in water was that he might be made manifest to Israel.
32 John also bore witness, saying: I viewed the spirit coming down as a dove out of heaven, and it remained upon him.
33 Even I did not know him, but the very One who sent me to baptize in water said to me, 'Whoever it is upon whom you see the spirit coming down and remaining, this is the one that baptizes in holy spirit [Jesus has authority to seal people in holy spirit, giving them everlasting life, since he has this life himself by virtue of the ARC].'
34 And I have seen [it], and I have borne witness that this one is the Son of God [Jesus was the firstborn son of God designate, conditional on his sacrifice. After his sacrifice he took Satan's firstborn angelic rights].
35 Again the next [day] John was standing with 2 of his disciples,
36 and as he looked at Jesus walking he said: See, the Lamb of God! [Who is not said to take away the sins of the world, is Gordon in the greater meaning. This is when the Watchtower recognises the LWs after they have recognised the Christ!]
37 And the 2 disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
38 Then Jesus turned and, getting a view of them following, he said to them: What are you looking for? They said to him: Rabbi, which means, when translated, Teacher, where are you staying? [Who is the FDS?]
39 He said to them: Come, and you will see. Accordingly they went and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day; it was about the 10th hour [leaving John, the first true church of a presence].
40 Andrew the brother of Simon Peter was one of the 2 that heard what John said and followed [Jesus].
41 First this one found his own brother, Simon, and said to him: We have found the Messiah which means, when translated, Christ.
42 He led him to Jesus. When Jesus looked upon him he said: You are Simon the son of John; you will be called Cephas which is translated Peter [Iiterally this was the spirit baptism of Peter. The 3 translations from Hebrew to Greek of Teacher Christ and Peter may refer to interpretations of old testament acounts which reveal teachings/doctrine and spirit baptism information and church leadership information for Christian churches].
43 The next [day] desired to depart for Galilee. So Jesus found Philip and said to him: Be my follower.
44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, from the city of Andrew and Peter.
45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him: We have found the one of whom Moses, in the Law, and the Prophets wrote, Jesus, the son of Joseph, from Nazareth.
46 But Nathanael said to him: Can anything good come out of Nazareth? Philip said to him: Come and see.
47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said about him: See, an Israelite for a certainty, in whom there is no deceit.
48 Nathanael said to him: How does it come that you know me? Jesus in answer said to him: Before Philip called you, while you were under the fig tree, I saw you.
49 Nathanael answered him: Rabbi, you are the Son of God, you are King of Israel.
50 Jesus in answer said to him: Because I told you I saw you underneath the fig tree do you believe? You will see things greater than these.
51 He further said to him: Most truly I say to you men, you will see heaven opened up and the angels of God ascending and descending to the Son of the man [Michael, Gabriel and Melchizedek possessing non adamic humans from Enoch and Methuselah right up to the final possession of Jesus by Michael]

Word Symbolic meanings

19 Now this is the witness of John [Obadiah of 1Kings18] when the Jews sent forth priests and Levites from Jerusalem to him to ask him: Who are you?
20 And he confessed and did not deny, but confessed: I am not the Christ [He is not the one anointed to baptise in water, Gordon is].
21 And they asked him: What, then? Are you Elijah? And he said: I am not [He is not Elijah4]. Are you The Prophet? [He is not a further fulfilment of the Prophet spoken of by Moses]  And he answered: No!
22 Therefore they said to him: Who are you? that we may give an answer to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?
23 He said: I am a voice of someone crying out in the wilderness, 'Make the way of the Lord straight,' just as Isaiah the prophet said [He is Gordon's hidden voice in the Watchtower. He is the voice of Elijah4]
24 Now those sent forth were from the Pharisees [the Governing Body of the Watchtower].
25 So they questioned him and said to him: Why, then, do you baptize if you yourself are not the Christ or Elijah or The Prophet? []
26 John answered them, saying: I baptize in water. In the midst of you one is standing whom you do not know,
27 the one coming [to you] behind me, but the lace of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie [Gordon's feet, the last members of his body on earth, the LW spirit baptised 2NC Lords, who are soon to be spirit baptised by the LWs in the Bethany 15 Stadia from Jerusalem. Higher = Earlier, Lower = Later].
28 These things took place in Bethany across the Jordan [not the Bethany of Lazarus but around 20 miles south of the lake of Galilee. the house of dates within the Watchtower, the prophets in the cave], where John was baptizing.

29 The next [day] [29Heshvan21 after John spoke to the Pharisees] [] he beheld Jesus coming toward him [having completed 40 days in the wilderness] [on a mushroom cloud], and he said: Look! the Lamb of God, the [one] taking away the sin of the world!
30 This is the one about whom I said, Behind me [Obadiah and the sons of his water baptism] there comes a male [anhr] [Gordon and sons of the 4EC who are all 2NC saints] who has advanced in front of me, because he existed before me [Obadiah was baptised with an LW water baptism taken from the LWs by the one who sent him baptizing in water. Gordon had the water baptism first, being Elijah4].
31 Even I did not know him, but the reason why I came baptizing in water was that he might be made manifest to Israel.
32 John also bore witness [therefore this is plainly a part of the witness of John - see verse 19], saying: I viewed the spirit coming down as [wV] a dove [Jonah means dove in Hebrew] out of heaven, and it remained upon him.
33 Even I did not know him [Gordon], but the very One who sent me to baptize in water [The person who took the LW water baptism to the Watchtower - we think a certain Roger Knight who vanished after we baptized him] said to me, 'Whoever it is upon whom you see the spirit coming down and remaining, this is the one that baptizes in spirit holy.'
34 And I have seen [it], and I have borne-witness that this one is the Son of God.

LCNC = 12 (3 threads, the literal double designation has a symbolic noun)
LINC Jesus, Sin of World, Male, Water, Israel, John, Spirit, Heaven, Son of God = 9

Mark 1:9-11 and Matthew 3:13-17 and Luke 3:21,22 are parallel but John 1:29-34 is not.

Not parallel because it is not an account of the events of Jesus' baptism. It is an account of John's witness to those events. Recount the other 3!!!

35 The next [day] again [29Heshvan22] [palin does not join this to the above verses, just means the following day again] [??] John [Obadiah of 1Kings18] was standing with 2 out of his disciples,
36 and as he looked at Jesus walking about [Jesus and his sons here, rather than his wife] he said: Look! the Lamb of God! [having seen that LWs have saints too, he finally recognises Gordon as the mediator of the 2NC]
37 And the 2 disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus [This is not following 1NC reserves, but joining the true church which is being led by Jesus. The Watchtower is a false church and so is not being led by Jesus].
38 Then Jesus turned and, having viewed them following, he said to them: What are you looking for? They said to him: Rabbi [Hebrew, does not count], which is translated, Teacher, where are you staying? [the LWs are another teacher for these disciples after the JWs, just as Rabbi is another word for Teacher. But the LWs teach in Greek, rather than Hebrew, meaning we teach the New testament to the JWs old testament, we reveal the greater meanings of the bible, the JWs taught the literal meanings]
39 He said to them: Come, and you will see. Accordingly they went and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day [Literal, appears once only]; the hour [literal] was about the 10th.
40 Andrew [Man, 2NC Kings from the Watchtower], the brother of Simon, Peter [The listener, Rock, the 1NC reserves] was one out of the 2 [the other un-named group are the unsanctified JWs, who will become water in the LWs and then be turned into wine at Cana], the [ones] having heard from beside John [Obadiah of 1Kings18] and followed him [Jesus].
41 First this one found the brother, the his-own [idion, a pronoun type word prevents a triple designation], Simon, and said to him: We have found the Messiah [Hebrew, not a proper noun, i.e. not a name of a person or a place, so does not count] which is translated, Christ [Gordon, another Christ, the mediator of the 2NC rather than the 1NC].
42 He led him to Jesus. When Jesus looked upon him he said: You are Simon, the son of John [sanctified listener, son of Obadiah]; you will be called Cephas [Hebrew name rather than a title, so does count] which is translated Peter [you are a rock who will be susbstituted into Peter, the head of Jesus' wife, in the future. You are also a son of Peter who is the apostle to the reserves].

We do not need to interpret Cephas, as well as Peter because they both mean the same thing literally!

43 The next [day] [29Heshvan23] [??] he desired to depart for Galilee [Meaning he desired to go to Cana on the next day, the 3rd day, so he called Philip on the same day he called Andrew, the second day]. And Jesus found Philip [2NC Lords from the Watchtower] and said to him: Follow me.
44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida [house of fishing], out of the city of Andrew and {the city} of Peter [the Watchtower, Esau, evangelisers, whereas Jacob, the LWs, from Bethany, the house of dates - Easton's bible dictionary, is the more civilised cultivator and home beautifier].
45 Philip found Nathanael [2NC Kings in the world] and said to him: We have found the [one] of whom Moses, in the Law, and the Prophets wrote, Jesus,  a son of the Joseph, the [one] from Nazareth [this is not Joseph, because the prophets refer to the Messiah as being a Nazarene. This is not a triple designation because it mixes definite and indefinite nouns and due a sense override in verse 46 which forces 'the one from Nazareth' to be in every thread! Neither is it a double designation for just as a pronoun imbalance anywhere invalidates a successive designation so does a sense override anywhere or a definite/indefinite imbalance anywhere].
46 But Nathanael said to him: Can anything good come out of Nazareth? [Sprout town, upstarts, the bottle-gourdons. Administration of the LWs, always predicting doom and gloom!] Philip said to him: Come and see.
47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said about him: Look! truly an Israelite, in whom there is no deceit [sincerity is the trade mark of the 2NC Kings who see God because they are pure in heart].
48 Nathanael said to him: How does it come that you know me? Jesus answered and said to him: Before Philip called you, while you were under the fig-tree [figs and dates were the last fruit to be gathered in the agricultural year, last true church, always figsing our dates. He is visiting our website], I saw you.
49 Nathanael answered him: Rabbi [Hebrew title, does not count], you are the Son of God, you are King of Israel.
50 Jesus answered and said to him: Because I told you I saw you underneath the fig-tree do you believe? You will see greater [ones] of/than these.
51 He further said to him: Most truly I say to you [ones], you will see heaven opened up and the angels of God ascending and descending to the Son of the man [the rapture]

JOHN CHAPTER 2

1 Now on the day [Heshvan23, that he wished to depart to Galilee verse 43], the 3rd [one] [The 3rd day of the first 1NC marriage feast from 2010Elul8 to 2010Elul14, the first new passover. The 3rd day being 2010Elul10. Or possibly in the 3rd year of the kingdom in Word2. Double designation does make sense due to verse 43], a marriage [of 1NC reserve kings took place. Water baptizing a 1NC reserve into the LWs is marrying him to Jesus!!! Since he is sealed in the flesh on entry!! Water is turned into wine during the marriage feast. LW Hanukkah is for 7 days prior to this feast, 2010Ab25-27 to 2010Elul1-3, starting with the rededication of the Laodicean 2NC temple, when the first Laodicean 2NC saint is baptized into TCC4, lasting for 7 days of the the 7x of the 7th festival of Jericho] took place in Cana [place of reeds - rulers] of Galilee [FDS4], and the mother of Jesus [The holy spirit] was there.
2 Jesus [1NC saints] and his disciples [all genuine Christians] were also invited to the marriage.
3 And [upon] [it] [the marriage feast, not said to be a feast] having become lacking [genitive singular masculine] of wine [noun as adverb] the mother of Jesus said to him: They have no wine [the heavenly 2NC Lord holy spirit baptism stops before the earthly 2NC Lord holy spirit baptism starts. In fact the heavenly spirit baptism ended on 2008Heshvan7 at the end of the 1.1 million days??].
4 But Jesus said to her: What have I to do with you, woman [the woman is TCC4, 1NC saints must join it. And we cannot start the human mediated 2NC Lord spirit baptism until they do join]? My hour has not yet come [The hour of his coming 2011Chislev11 - 2012Heshvan27].
5 His mother [the holy spirit] said to the servants [LWs]: Whatever he tells you, do.
6 As it was, there were 6 water-jars of stone [6 LW apostles] sitting there according to the purification of the Jews [the purification of the born agains, the true people of Jehovah after the end of the LCC], each [ana] having-place-for measures 2 or 3 [1NC saints, 2NC saints, 2NC Lords].
7 Jesus said to them: Fill the water-jars of/with water [genitive secondary object. Water baptism - Jesus said nothing about wine]. And they filled them until [the] top/upper part [anw - is an adverb. We used to think that it is used as an adverb, but grammatically was a noun, even so it would not count - see also katw.] [Fill up the 6 tribes with water baptised people].
8 And [temporal disconnect - great example since the water becomes wine way before the jars are full in the greater meaning] he said to them: Draw some out now and take it to the director-of-the-dinning room [GB of the JWs]. So they took it.
9 When, now, the director of the dinning room tasted the water that had been turned into wine but did not know wherefrom it was  [he needed both water and wine, so is a JW director] although the servants knew [the LWs], the [ones] who had drawn out the water [emphasizing the need for a water baptism], the director of the dinning room called the bridegroom [Gordon]
10 and said to him: Every man [man] puts out the fine wine first, and when they become intoxicated, the inferior [one]. You have reserved the fine wine until now [the wine put out first is that of the 1NC, that wine was wine from the start. The 'Great Crowd' was not identified until 1935. No conversion occurred with the first wine. But the fine wine of the 2NC is converted from water, and tastes better because humans want to be kings on earth not in heaven and they do not want to die. The 2NC Kings and Lords rule on earth under the 1NC kings in heaven and no not die at all].
11 Jesus performed this in Cana of Galilee [as the] beginning of his signs, and he manifested his glory; and his disciples put-faith in him (John 2).

12 After this he and his mother and brothers and his disciples went down to Capernaum, but they did not stay there many days.
13 Now the passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 And he found in the temple those selling cattle and sheep and doves and the money brokers in their seats.
15 So, after making a whip of ropes, he drove all those with the sheep and cattle out of the temple, and he poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
16 And he said to those selling the doves: Take these things away from here! Stop making the house of my Father a house of merchandise!
17 His disciples called to mind that it is written: The zeal for your house will eat me up.
18 Therefore, in answer, the Jews said to him: What sign have you to show us, since you are doing these things?
19 In answer Jesus said to them: Break down this temple, and in 3 days I will raise it up.
20 Therefore the Jews said: This temple was built in 46 years, and will you raise it up in 3 days?
21 But he was talking about the temple of his body.
22 When, though, he was raised up from the dead, his disciples called to mind that he used to say this; and they believed the Scripture and the saying that Jesus said.
23 However, when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, at its festival, many people put their faith in his name, viewing his signs that he was performing.
24 But Jesus himself was not entrusting himself to them because of his knowing them all
25 and because he was in no need to have anyone bear witness about man, for he himself knew what was in man.

JOHN CHAPTER 3
1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees, Nicodemus was his name, a ruler of the Jews.
2 This one came to him in the night and said to him: Rabbi, we know that you as a teacher have come from God; for no one can perform these signs that you perform unless God is with him.
3 In answer Jesus said to him: Most truly I say to you, Unless anyone is born again/generated from above
[as an angel in heaven, which angel can then effectively possess the human who has been spirit baptised], he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus said to him: How can a man be born when he is old [at least 30 for non adamics and 20 for adamics]? He cannot enter into the womb of his mother a second time and be born, can he?
[Not physically no. But he enter the womb of God's wife, the holy spirit, once, to be born and as angel and then a second time to be resurrected as a non ageing human in the kingdom of God]
5 Jesus answered: Most truly I say to you, Unless anyone is born from water
[water baptism of the conscience by faith or of the body by the true church] and spirit [temporary angelic vehicle at the rapture or at the resurrection out of the first death], he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 What has been born from the flesh is flesh
[humans beget humans], and what has been born from the spirit is spirit [angels beget angels].
7 Do not marvel because I told you, you people must be born again
[everybody is at some point in the future].
8 The wind blows where it wants to, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone that has been born from the spirit
[The heavenly modem link - see U255. The spirit comes from Gdo and goes back to him eventually when it re-enters his divine body before it leaves as a divine soul, a new God].
9 In answer Nicodemus said to him: How can these things come about?
10 In answer Jesus said to him: Are you a teacher of Israel and yet do not know these things?
11 Most truly I say to you, What we know we speak and what we have seen we bear witness of, but you people do not receive the witness we give.
12 If I have told you earthly things and yet you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
13 Moreover, no one
[out of the sons of Adam] has ascended into heaven but the [one] that descended from heaven, the Son of the man [So the son of the man had both descended and ascended prior to this statement, so this was at least Jesus' second human possession. Further. Gabriel had descended and ascended several times and so had Melchizedek at the time of this statement. But they are both also sons of the man, non adamics, sons of pre-fall adam. So the sense of this is that everyone who has ascended to heaven has done it from a prior descent, and they are all sons of the man, i.e. non adamic sons of pre fall Adam. Greek is using 'the' generally. It does that! The pre-adamics ascended without descending]
14 And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so the Son of the man must be lifted up
[impaled and resurrected],
15 that everyone believing in him may have everlasting life
[since he died as an everlasting spirit].
16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son
[only angelic son with everlasting life], in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent forth his Son into the world, not for him to judge the world, but for the world to be saved through him.
18 He that exercises faith in him is not to be judged. He that does not exercise faith has been judged already, because he has not exercised faith in the name of the only-begotten Son of God
[The name resulting from the ARC].
19 Now this is the basis for judgment, that the light
[Jesus] has come into the world but men have loved the darkness [Satan] rather than the light, for their works were wicked.
20 For he that practices vile things hates the light and does not come to the light, in order that his works may not be reproved.
21 But he that does what is true comes to the light, in order that his works may be made manifest as having been worked in harmony with God.
22 After these things Jesus and his disciples went into Judean country, and there he spent some time with them and did baptizing.
23 But John also was baptizing in Aenon near Salim, because there was a great quantity of water there, and people kept coming and being baptized;
24 for John had not yet been thrown into prison.
25 Therefore a dispute arose on the part of the disciples of John with a Jew concerning purification.
26 So they came to John and said to him: Rabbi, the man that was with you across the Jordan, to whom you have borne witness, see, this one is baptizing and all are going to him.
27 In answer John said: A man cannot receive a single thing unless it has been given him from heaven.
28 you yourselves bear me witness that I said, I am not the Christ, but, I have been sent forth in advance of that one.
29 He that has the bride
[the 1NC saints] is the bridegroom [the mediator of the 1NC]. However, the friend of the bridegroom [everyone who has ever been in any true religion], when he stands and hears him, has a great deal of joy on account of the voice of the bridegroom. Therefore this joy of mine has been made full.
30 That one must go on increasing
[in disciples], but I must go on decreasing [in disciples].
31 The one that comes from above is over all the others. The one that is from the earth is from the earth and speaks of things of the earth. The one that comes from heaven is over all others
[Gabriel, from heaven, is above all the water baptised. Michael, from heaven, is above all the saints, Melchizedek, who started on the earth but in now in heaven, is above all the faithful one, the sons of the FRC and its subcovenants].
32 What he has seen and heard, of this he bears witness, but no man is accepting his witness.
33 He that has accepted his witness has put his seal to it that God is true.
34 For the one whom God sent forth speaks the sayings of God, for he does not give the spirit by measure.
35 The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.
36 He that exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life; he that disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.
