In the Kingdom of God, the 1NC kings and the 2NC kings unite to rule as husband and wife. The 1NC kings celebrate their marriage to Jesus at the passover. The 2NC kings celebrate their marriage to Gordon at Booths. The administration of Zoar, which begins on 2012Nisan17, is the synthesis of these two houses of kings who will rule over 144,000 kingdoms in married pairs. What better way to symbolise this union than uniting the two festivals that celebrate these two covenants?
We know that Jesus said...
36 the reaper is receiving wages and
gathering fruit for everlasting life, so that the sower and the reaper may
rejoice together.
37 In this respect, indeed, the saying is
true, One is the sower and another the reaper (John 4).
And we know that God commands us all to be happy and to rejoice at each of his festivals. So the 1NC rejoicing at the Passover and Cakes and the 2NC rejoicing at Booths are to be united at the first festival after the exodus from the Watchtower, we we think will be late booths from 2009Heshvan14 -2009Heshvan22. The festival of Cakes Booths!
These festival are all defined with the flexibility to permit such a union...
4 'These are [the]
seasonal festivals of Jehovah, [the] holy conventions,
which you should proclaim at their appointed times:
5 In-the-month, the first, on the 14th day
of the month, between the 2 evenings is the passover to Jehovah.
6 'And on the 15th day of this month is
the festival of unfermented-cakes to Jehovah. 7 days you should eat unfermented-cakes.
7 On-the-day, the first, you will have a
holy convention occur. No sort of work of labour may you do.
8 But you must present an offering made by
fire to Jehovah 7 days. On the 7th day there will be a holy convention. No sort
of work of labour may you do (Leviticus23).
34 Speak to the sons of Israel, saying,
'On the 15th day of this 7th month is the festival of booths for 7 days to
Jehovah.
35 On the first day is a holy convention.
No sort of laborious work may you do.
36 7 days you should present an offering
made by fire to Jehovah. On-the-day, the 8th, there should occur a holy
convention for you, and you must present an offering made by fire to Jehovah. It
is a solemn assembly. No sort of work of labour may you do.
37 'These are the seasonal festivals of
Jehovah that you should proclaim as holy conventions, for presenting an offering
made by fire to Jehovah: the burnt offering and the grain-offering of the
sacrifice and the drink offerings according to the daily schedule,
38 besides the sabbaths of Jehovah and
besides your gifts and besides all your vow offerings and besides all your
voluntary offerings, which you should give to Jehovah.
39 However, on the 15th day of the 7th
month, when you have gathered the produce of the land, you should celebrate the
festival of Jehovah 7 days. On-the-day, the first, is a complete rest and on the
day, the 8th, is a complete rest.
40 And you must take for yourselves on the
first day the fruit of splendid trees, the fronds of palm trees and the boughs
of branchy trees and of poplars of the torrent valley, and you must rejoice
before Jehovah your God 7 days.
41 And you must celebrate it as a festival
to Jehovah, 7 days in the year. As a statute to time indefinite during your
generations, you should celebrate it in-the-month, the 7th.
42 It is in the booths you should dwell 7
days. All the natives in Israel should dwell in the booths,
43 in order that your generations may know
that it was in the booths that I made the sons of Israel to dwell when I was
bringing them from the land of Egypt. I am Jehovah your God (Leviticus23).
So the passover occurs on the 14th day of the first month. Well that is Nisan if the calendar starts in Nisan and it is Tishri if the calendar starts in Tishri. Likewise Cakes occurs from the 15th day of the first month to the 21st. And Booths from the 15th day of the 7th month to the 22nd. But in 2009Tishri we have a month that is the 7th month under the old calendar and the first under the new calendar so we have the possibility of uniting the two festivals just in that year. Also since the marriage of the lamb has now occurred the Lord's evening meal should take on a new form presumably. But since Booths is not said to occur in Tishri, but in the 7th month, this is a real possibility. Why would we separate after having been united? Those who God hath yoked together, let no man put asunder!
We eat fish on Tishri15 and lamb on Nisan14, but Moses was referring to both foods being eating at the same time in Numbers 11...
22 Will flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, for it to be adequate for them? [literally No. Symbolically, well we will need to slaughter flocks and herds in order to have enough lamb to celebrate the passover on 2008Tishri14 and the extended passover on 2008Heshvan14-28. Also the flocks and herds from false religion need to be slaughtered as are the prophets of Baal, dying as false worshippers, becoming dead to their previous churches, and joining the LWs. These are the LWs from false religion ] Or will all the fish of the sea be caught for them, for it to be adequate for them? [Literally No. Symbolically Yes
Incidentally. The calendar is changed back to the pre-exodus version which is the edenic version at the greater exodus not from Egypt into Israel but from the kingdom of the world into the kingdom of God. Since the scripture below has a greater meaning...
2 This month will be the start of the months for you. It will be the first of the months of the year for you (Exodus 12).
So 2009Tishri1 is in the first month of the kingdom year and the 7th month of
the old year.
